After visiting the Troyan Monastery, we recommend that you take your car on the way back along Stara Planina Street. In the immediate vicinity, to your left, is the National Exhibition of Crafts and Arts – Oreshak (coordinates 42.866870838970726, 24.779854769817092).
The exhibition was established in 1971. In its exhibition halls are shown unique objects of folk arts and crafts, made by prominent masters from all ethnographic regions of Bulgaria. The complex is located in a park with an area of 50 decares, and the exhibition itself has nine exhibition halls with a total exhibition area of 4200 sq.m.
Opening hours of the exhibition:
- 9:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday;
- 10:00 – 18:00 Saturday and Sunday.
Prices for visiting:
- Adults BGN 4;
- Pupils, students and retired BGN 2;
- Children up to 7 years. and people with disabilities – free of charge.
